Join the staff and volunteers of United Soldiers and Sailors of America for our Halloween charity dog walk. Prizes for best dog costumes. Special category for dog owners who wear a costume complimenting their dog's outfit. Your support for our grassroots HOMELESS AND ELDERLY VETERANS OUTREACH PROGRAMS allows us to continue to directly impact the quality of life for our local homeless and elderly veterans in the Washington, DC area. On Saturdays, our volunteers gather in the kitchen of our Capitol office to make sandwiches and soup which we then hand deliver to homeless veterans living on our street, in our parks, and under bridges. We are meeting at 10:00 am at the fountain in Dupont Circle. The Custome contest will begin promptly at 10:30 am afterwards, we will be walking to the White House.
