What makes our annual 5K Race - Feed a Veteran so special? After completing the race, come inside the club house to participate in making sandwiches and assemble care packages filled with toiletries, warm clothing and heathy snacks for homeless and elderly veteran in the DMV . You will also have the opportunity to help box up Christmas cards that our organization ships around the world to various military bases through our Christmas Cards For Our Troops program.
The USASOA 5k Race - FEED A VETERAN has become the premier 5K race to welcome the Holiday Season. Over 300 runners, walkers and strollers participating in last year’s race with runners coming as far away as New York City and New Jersey to support this pre-Holiday event. Take time to give back to those who defended our nation and are now in need of our compassion and support.
