The food collected is distributed to military families struggling with food insecurity on US Army Base Ft. Our volunteers set up a table in front of Giant Food Stores and hand out cards with a list of food item that we collect to distribute to military families through our FOOD FOR TROOPS program. We ask the customers who are going in the soter to shiop if they could purcahse one of the items we need. A majority of the people are very happy to help in knowing that the food we collect goes directly into the hands of our heroes and their families.
