Your support for the 4th Annual 5K Race FEED A VETERAN goes straight to the table.

We are excited to announce our 4th year of holding our 5K Race 'FEED A VETERAN.'

The DMV has over 300 homeless and displaced elderly veterans living on the streets or temporary housing facilities. During the winter months, these veterans face extreme cold out in the elements and have nowhere to turn for support and a hot meal.

The Feed a Veteran 5K on Saturday, November 7, 2026, is a fun 3.1-mile road race on an enclosure golf cart path of Old Hickory Golf Course in Woodbridge, VA. The race is organized with community partners to raise money and provide hot food and winter survival kits for the homeless veterans in DC and provide suicide prevention programs for veterans.

This race has become the premier event for the upcoming Holidays. What makes this race incredibly unique is that after the race, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to assemble sandwiches and soup that will be delivered to these homeless veterans the afternoon after the race! Additionally, everyone will be able to pack winter survival kits (hygiene supplies, gloves, socks, blankets, etc.) that USASOA delivers to these homeless veterans in the month of December
